sounds like a good day, i am not getting to fish as much as i had hoped, but it looks like things are comming together, and fall fishing should be great, squeezed right in the middle of some deer hunting,

keep wearin'em out

We've been hammering the trout up here. All stocked fish though. Very few native.
Nice browns & rainbows. Been getting at least 3 fish limit each time out.

Congrats....Haven't been out as much as I would like (kinda like m.t.hands) but managed to do a little trout fishing over the weekend. Sat night I caught and released two nice brookies with my fly rod.

Sun afternoon I hooked into a hugh trout (see separate post) and couldn't bring him in. It was a great fight but about 30 ft. out he won the fight as my line went limp. He simply spit out the hook, no broken line. I caught 2-3 more after that and released them all.

As disappointed as I was, at least there were some trout with smiles on their face, thanks to Jimmy!
