What state are ya fishing in.? Our bass have slooowed down here in Florida. This week has been terrible. I use Zoom too but only because that to my opinion is the best that Walmart carries down here.

They are my 2nd choice. My first choice is the Gambler worms that I buy from a local tackle shop.

I believe any color that you have confidence in ,will pretty much work. For years I would only fish a black curly tail 6" worm with a blue tail. The worm I use now is a ribbon tail worm which is Black grape with glitter in it. The worm is made by Gambler and called { Christmas Tree}
Here they are.....A super soft worm my friend.

I'm "hooked" on the Berkeley Power Worms , they aren't kidding , fish really won't let go . I've literally horsed a smallie 30 feet with nothing but the worm in his mouth . He even breached for a tail dance twice , you can't ignore that kind of results .
