My wife couldn't wait and told me what I was getting for my birthday,
a G-loomis GlX worm rod and a shimano curada bait casting reel. It hasn't come in yet but I couldn't believe she paid that kind of money for my birthday, retail for the set is $550. I've paid $100 for a rod before and $100 for a reel but I would never dream of getting myself that kind of outfit. She's a good wife. By the way, she paid for it with a bonus she got from work that she hadn't told me about. Anyway, I can't wait to try that outfit out.
you lucky dog, Very nice set up. i go to work everyday stare at the G-Loomis GIX, pick it up, walk around with it and try to figure out how in the world i can justify buying one.
