Default Pike Opener Anyone? (pic)

Finally got a decent day to go out after opener. The first day of season prevailed with 5 hits and 3 Pike. Only one being 28", long enough to keep. Second say of season, April 30th, caught 2 small ones and finally what I had been waiting for.

40" long
14.4 lbs.

Biggest to date for me... In the taxidermist office for now...

Congrats, I'm one of the few people I know who actually fish for snakes, everyone else thinks they're slimy and they bite (they will got a scar on my finger to prove it [&:])and blah, blah, blah, but that leaves more for me . I think my biggest pike to date was about 20 pounds, but I've seen some HUGE pike in the park that would've topped the scale at 30 pounds. Probably one of the most memorable battles was a 15 pounder on my ultralite while fishing for wally's in the spring, now that was fun . Enough rambling for me now, and congrats again
