What are some strange things you've seen fishing?

Once while I was shellcracker fishing my son said, "Look dad , a dinosaur!"
For one second it diffently appeared that my son was telling the truth.
Honestly ...with my eyesopen I saw what seemedto be a 35 foot gator. Until ....the rear ones head appeared . It was 2 gators breeding.

Another one.....while drifting along the edge of a lake flipping for bass..I was being blown under a willow branch about 6 feet above the water. Honestly ...just as I started to drift under it, 3 big snakes uncoiled themselves hanging from the tree branch flickering thier tongues at me. I took my oar quickly and prayerfully like something from an Indiana Jones movie knocking the snakes in the water.

In Canada June 2005 got within 6 feet of this bear swimming across the lake. Maybe not the smartest thing to get that close, but something I'll never forget.

I watched a deer swim from one side of lake cumberland to other which is a long way. I cant think of any really weird things im sure some have happen tho.

ya i saw a deer swiming in strawberry reserivoir at night, didnt know that deer could swim, wish I had a bow with me jk it was out of season

I saw a guys pants and shoes, i didnt want to find out why he didnt have them.

I was fishing an old water shed pond one time and I saw a beaver running down thedam and then he went into the water and not a minute later here come another one and he ran right into the big cementwater shed thingy and got knocked out.... And one timewhen I was a little kid and I wasn't catching any fish I just let my worm sink to the bottom of the pond and I thought I was caught up but when I pulled up it was a 26lb turtle.... Thats about the strangest that I can remember....

Several miles off the Atlantic side coast of Florida
we saw a couple of largesea turtles in the grips
of passion.
The ball of snakes is always neat to see, unless
you stumble across them up close and personal.
Kind'a creepy then.

Fishing in the florida Big Cypress ,with my oldest son.
We were under hanging braches tied to a cypress tree eating luch and catching minnows for bait, when a small plane flew over and dropped a huge package, then we saw two guys wearing camo , sneaking through the cypress swamp,that came and took the package, I phoned the sheriff and by the time we got out several hours later, they had the guys in a van with 300 lBS of Cocaine.

Good catch don't you think ?

So I don't care what the law says about not carrying a weapon, I do from now on
