NY Walleye opener changed

I didn't realize it until my son said something. For as long as I can remember the opener for Walleye has been May 1st this year it's the first Saturday in May. Don't get caught dropping your line early.

my friend did that once.....they changed a regualtions different fromt the way it was last year, and he didnt bother looking at the regs for this year and got busted for dropping a line to early.....they just gave him awarning though!
