No more excuses

Well I have no more excuses. The bass are bedding. A fellow out there today got a 7 and an 8 pounder. I got out there late because I had to stay with my boy till he got on the bus. The fisherman said once the overcast clouds went away the fish left. The shore line looks like crators on the moon. I caught some 1 1/2 pounders and found a sand bar with my depth finder. That helped me get some. I will be fishing hard tomorrow.

good luck.. im going out early tomorrow also to scout some hidden areas for a tournament next weekend.

Wished I was with ya Josh. Sounds like fun.

I called in a reservation for Lake 5 Sat. {Today}I enjoy fishing it more because the water around the islands are deep...therefore you can flip all day. Also I've got some secret holes there as well. I'll go back to Lake B Monday. That pit is more just a big lake with no islands. That
is where some nice ones are being caught. I enjoy fishing brush piles and islands more.This management area is only opened Friday through Monday. I don't go back to school until April 4th YES!!

Got side tracked today.

My mother in law usually watches Aaron on Sat. he was really bad this week and I made him go fishing with me. I figured since he would be in the back of the boat I'd buy some minnows and maybe he could catch a crappie or 2. Well to make a long story short. There were so many crappie we got side tracked.
Totals......7 Largemouth bass. Nothing over 2 lbs
6 nice channel cats. Kept 2
One of those cats put my Stren Braid to test. I honestly thought I had a nice bass on there for I caught it on a rubber worm.I thought here we go;I'm not pushing the button I'm going to crank her in. It was a 5 lb. cat. I'm very confident with that 20 lbStren Braid.
andabout 40 Crappie. Kept 14 slabs.

The bass are bedding everywhere. Many have already gone as their fry on the beds tell the story. Monday ...I'll be there ALL Day ..God willing.
