Ok fellers,
A few have mentioned the smallmouth bass in the tournaments.By all means yes, We will have 1st ,2nd and 3rd place winners for them too. Post them with thelargemouth. Thanks.
Ok...now. I'm gettin gready to put some braided on my reel and head out for the pits in about 30 minutes.

Well I should of checked the weather man yesterday. I found th ebeds, and bass on the beds but a cold front shut them down. I caught one small male and I flipped islands for 3 hours and chucked a few spinner baits in the deep.

Thats good Chuck, at least ya got out.Me an my Brother went out for some streamer fishingyesterdayonThe Big Lake.Weather was great, sun was out and I think it was around 40 deg. Didnt have much open water to fish but managed to get the dust off the old fly rods. My Brother had what I think was a Coho Salmon on for a few, but lost if on a peice of ice. All in all it was fun, and the dog had fun swimming after ducks and gulls, I dont know how he can get in that water, it would stop a humans hart its so cold but he loves it.
