Default Good Day on the Ice

Finally got out fishing today! It has been a while since I gave the Northerns a try and it was a nice day. Not the best, but by far not the worst! I caught 2 small Northerns right off dawn. Both were a little under 20". Then a small bass flagged me and let him go. I lost a monster Pike, boy I wish I would have slowed him down and played with him more. Then to top of the day, I got this one. He is decent. Not very big for me, but good eating. Enjoy!

Northern Pike - 28 1/2" - Caught on 6" Sucker.

My cousin was pulling his 12 yr old daughter around on a tube with the boat and suddenly she started to yell. He stopped the boat and her big toe was bleeding real bad so they took her to the ER and when the doc stitched her up he found a huge pike tooth in her toe. Apparently she had a silver toe ring on and the pike saw it go by and struck at it just like a lure.

CI, that is why I only swim in lakes Like Superior were I can see my feet. Gives me the creeps just thinking about it.

I was once hit in the twig and bitz by a salmon on a lower MI river. It was not as funny as all my freinds thought it was.
