i jus got back from fishin.whats the best way to cook them

Remove entrails by splitting up the middel, the wash thouroughly ( I had to say that) Then before sealing in aluminum foil, shake salt, and garlic powder adding a tablespoon of butter. Throw on the grill at medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes. EJ

Man..best eatiing fish in the USA.. I scale them, gut them and use just enough oil or butter to keep them from sticking. Salt and pepper too. Put them on med. with a lid half on to let out steam so they cook through.I also butter fly them so thier entire flesh is on the surface of the frying pan. They cook fast so watch them. You may use butter instead of oil. Just enough .Those fish are so good you ain't got to do much to them.
They are my favorite.

Are you talking about sea trout or fresh water trout because I don't know any state where that many fresh water trout is legal to keep. Especially in Maryland.I used to live in Elkton.
