New Jiffy 76 clanks when giving it gas

Wondering if any of you have had this with your jiffy's. Just got it and tried it out and it clanks hard when you give it gas and when cutting thru the ice it does it a few times too.

Doesn't sound right to me buzz. Better take it back and fire it up at the store. A metalic clanking has to be the clutch or something worse in the engine. I use a 6" Nils Master with a Tanaka Pro power head. Most of the commercial fishermen here use them. I have had mine for 4 years now and it still cuts great and I fish almost every day.
