ice fishing hut

Hi I am kinda new to ice fishing and I wanted to make a little shack or, shelter whatever most people call it. But I was wondering if I really needed a floor or if it made really much of a difference? My shelter is going to be a 2 man and I was going to make it 5 feet long and 5 feet wide. Also I was goign to make it about 5' 9" or 10". Is that enough room. It's ging to be a portable one so any help would be appreciated. thanks
