worlds largest catfish????

Maybee the worlds largest catfish. It was netted in northern Thailand in the Mekong river. Nearly 9 feet long (2,7 meters)-- Good god what a fish!!!!

I read that story on the discovery channel website. I guess the tribe cut it up and they ate it. I can't imagine seeing anything like that swiming by the boat in a river. I think I would shart!!!

yeah, i also read that. pretty amazing. wouldn't it be cool if in 20 years the species had come back and you could fly out there and go fly fishing for 'em! WOW

There is a rumor that there is a volkswagen beetle size catfish at our dam. Some people have spotted it several times.

catfish is some good eating. just like any "wild game" its all in how you prepare it. it would probably be 3rd on my list of fish, with the first to a toss up between walleye and fresh perch pulled out of the ice.

i love catfish but if they get too big they taste like mud. i cant imagine how that big of one would taste
