Me and my buddy went out fishing on the 4th and the last thing we expected to catch was a 28 in 10lbs carp. When i got home that night me my dad and his buddy had been talking and they both figured they could out fish me so we went out on the 5th and i picked up another carp. 27in 9lbs. This was odd because on the river where i always fish i have never picked up a carp before. I figured what the hell i'm on a roll might as well try again tommorrow. So i went out on the 6th with my buddy. I picked up 2 more carp. 1st one was 27in 11lbs and the second was 10in 3lbs. We had lost another one that day that i would say have gone prolly 13lbs. I'll post the pictures soon as they are developed.
Sounds like you have one heck of a honey hole. This time of year was always my favorite for carp down at the river. I was accustomed, at one point, to catching many of the size of what you are referring to. What were you using as bait?
