Cabelas has a real image poper that works very well. I got it in the baby bass color. Torpedos work well to. Zara pupies work well for walking the dog but that takes some getting use to.

If I had one to use it would be the Baby Torpedo. Mine is whiteish in color. When a bass its it.It's usually a decent size fish too.

Walking the dog is when you make the zara puppy zig zag across the top of the water. Looks like this /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/. It works good, I have cought a lot of fish this way.

I've all ways liked using jitterbugs. Vary your retrieve slow continuous or stop and go. Use lighter colors during the day and dark ones at night. The main thing with top water is to feel the fish on your line before you set the hook. You don't seem to get as many hits as with other baits but they do tend to be bigger fish. A little patience goes a long way topwater fishing.

Pop-R or Rapala Skitter Pop maybe? I'd say a Heddon Zara Spook in chrome/black or a Rapala Skitter Walk in something dark like that. That or a Booyah Buzz Bait, probably 1/2 oz or 1/4 oz, black or white.
