Those are nice sized bass in any lake. I've been only catching lots of 2 pounders here in Florida. Caught my first 5 today. And as soon as I netted her the hook came out. Rooster tails do that alot.I'm switching to a Bomber A crankbait.

What did you catch your bass on?

the fishing has slowed up here with some bad weather and memorial day. We got one 2 1/2 lbr on a 7" black/blue YUM Zellamander Texas rigged..fishing thick, shallow grass. A friend missed a 5 or so lbr on a scum frog, and then i dropped a black/blue flake YUM tube into a hole in a hydrill mat and pulled out a 2lbr, but we had to leave. so we're going back tommorrow to fish it. 2-3' hydrilla mats, bullrushes, catttails, and thick grass and stuff. probably going to run scum frogs with senko's and tubes as throw back lures, maybe flip them into the holes.

I am going for Walleyes tomorrow. The weather sound pretty good. 70-75 for temps and SE wind 10-15. This North Dakota weather has been the pitts for a couple weeks now. Rain and wind then wind and rain and the more wind and more rain.[:@][:@] Going to Devils Lake.
