I bought a encore barrel to try on my encore muzzleloader and am finding it is a very good shooter.I got it in a 25/06.Last week at the range one of the guys I shoot with shot a group less than an inch @300 yds with it I shot three 3-shot groups with it using different bullets and loads of one inch or less in a row @ 300yds.One group measure excatly 1/2 in.
Went back to the range to work on a 22/250 this tues and decided to take 5 bullets of my favorite load(120 gr Hornady) and see what a 5-shot group would do,When I got there i couldn't find but four of them so below is what I got with a 4 shot group @300 yds.It measured 1.076 for the 4-shot group
