The numbers that the folks at Ultimate Firearms have been throwing for years, have been proved time and time again, not to be true. Cecil Epps of Precision Rifle Bullets had one to test not so long ago, and he stated "

The sample gun they sent me fell about 350 fps short of the claims. The 4 or 5th pellet almost set my entire bush on fire. Someone should really take that guy to the cleaners. To date, I have not talked to one owner whose chrono read the same as Johnson's. Personally, I have chronoed 4 pellets SLOWER that 3. Oh well

Cecil Epp
Ultimate Firearms has been blowing this same smoke, up shooters rear-ends for years now, and seems no end in sight.

i kinda wondered about that because from what i seen on my encore there is not a great gain in mv w120gr. versus 150gr. just a bigger fireball, the barrel on my encore will not burn all 150 gr. in the barrel and in my opinion is waisting powder.

thanks for the info, like a lot of other products, the best thing about them is there advertising[:@]

I would definately have to see some proof of these claims before I could justify paying $1500.00 ( Minimum ) for this muzzleloader. Before this, I had never heard of Ultimate Firearms. How long have they been making guns?

That is a lot of $$$ for a smoke pole. I'll stick to my T/C, thanks.
