CZ VARMINT .22 RIFLES? ( ANYONE OWN ONE OR SHOOT ONE) ?

Is this gun worth the pretty expensive price?

It looks nice but im not sure if its worth spending the extra $ for this one or should i just rather buy a fairly good quality inexpensive Savage MK ll LV or Marlin 880SQ. Im looking for a really accurate varmint shooter that is reliable and reasonable in price.If its worth it and its a bloody amazing gun, ill go for it, but i need advice first. It goes for 450.00 canadian. Hows the accuracy(what ammo?)feeding, reliability,etc. Thanks you for any comments...

For the money, Sav is a accurate gun, maybe not the desgin that some people like, but for the dinero,difference lots of time people pjay for the name because of advertizement. Save the difference and spent it on ammo. go for the savage. vangunsmith

The CZ 452 Varmint is worlds ahead of anything Savage or Marlin puts out. It's still not in the running as far as fit and finish as an Anschutz, but they're dollar for dollar one of the best rifles on the market. My CZ 452 Varmint doesn't have as smooth a trigger as my Anschutz or Sako rimfires, but it's just as accurate.

Are far as ammo selection, every gun is different. Check the link gopher slayer gave you for more CZ info.

I shot a 452 a few months ago and was impressed by the accuracy and good fit it had.

Probably CZ's are the finest 22's you can buy in that price range. I don't think they can compare to Sako's or Anschutz's but sure they are accurate rifles.

If you have the cash, go for it, you won't regret it.

I have a CZ 452 in a 22 wmr, I use the rifle a lot and like it, I have an Anschutz 22 and as everyone said the Anschutz is a better fit rifle but it is about three time the price. Just one thing, I bought a spare clip for my CZ and it was about $25.00 Canadian, I need a replacement for the Anschutz and it was about $75.00 Canadian.
