Default The "NEW" Savage/Stevens Model 200?

Has anybody had any experience with one of these yet? Im considering one in 25-06, and would like to know if the accuracy serves up to the reputation of other savage rifles. Most of all I'm curious how many corners savage cut to make this rifle available for under 400 bucks.

From what I read on www.savageshooters.com, the Stevens is a Savage model 110, only without the Accu-Trigger. If that's true, I'd expect some pretty good accuracy.

That's right, no Accu-Trigger, but they should be good especially in the price range. I don't think they offer as many choices in stocks and they're only blued, if I recall.

im not to worried about the extras, also I dont really care for the accu trigger though its a good idea, it feels funny to me. If the stock trigger isnt to my liking more then likely ill swap out the trigger with a jarden trigger. Synthetic stock and a blued barrel is perfect for what intend to use the rifle for. It will be mainly a yote gun, all i have to do now is decide on a caliber im stuck between a 243 and a 22-250.
