MARLIN .22 AMMO? (7000)

what ammo do you guys find cycles the best and is reasonably accurate in your Marlin model 7000? if you own one. Which would you choose for best quality, but cheap....... CCI Mini Mag, CCI Standard Velocity, Federal classic or American Eagle, Winchester Wildcat, Winchester Dynapoints, Remington thunderbolts....ETC. Which one works best in this semi auto rifle? Thanks in advance for any help... Sako

in my Marlin 60 (same action I think) I shoot the CCI Mini Mags. It seems the Marlin guns do best with high velocity rounds. My gun also likes the 40 grain pills a lot more than the 32 and 36 grainers (stovepiping and jamming), but no problems with the 40 grainers. I have also shot the Win. Wildcats, but I don't know that they produce them anymore.

I dont own a marlin but I see that CCI ammo works best in my remington. The mini mags,velocitors, stingers, any of them.

my marlin 22's seem to like 40 grain thunderbolts and 36 grain gold bullets the best.
