Springfield 1911 9mm info???

I love the looks of this gun. love the fact I already have lots of accessories for a full size 1911, but was wondering how this 1911 handled the 9mm cartidge? Just as reliable in function? good accuracy? Any help would be great.

yes it does function good i know too many guys that use that 1911, but 9mm in a 1911......barf not my bag of beans. makes me sick defacing the 1911 by chambering it in 9mm.
if you cant tell all mine are in 45 acp. LOL
