If I am not mistaken, Marine Corps SNIPERS used the WIN 70{pre-64} in Korea.
Remington MOD 700 in Vietnam.

I would. Its still a good gun good, and one of the most popular. Its very overrated, not needed, but still stands good in the gun world.

BC its a well made gun and I wish new guns were made the same way but it has some design flaws especialy the gas handling system that are a little scary.

I guess I would change my mind if I ever had a case eruption. And knock on wood, I havn't. Thank goodness.
