Default Remington 700 XCR

I noticed on Remington's website they have a few new models. Has anyone handled or shot one of these XCR's? I also see they are offering WSM's now.

It is a good looking gun and I like that finish on it..they probably won't be hitting dealers shelfs for awhile

The synthetic stock from this rifle with the grip sure looks like the Sako synthetic stock. I wonder what they used for the surest grip as they noted?

Unless I am really off base it is the same stock manufacturer HOGUE that builds both

I"™m not sure on who manufactures the stocks but I"™m sure Sako must have some sort of copyrights on there design with the rubber grip molded into the stock. I"™m just wondering what Remington is using or how they are accomplishing what they stated.

Winchester also has some models with the rubber grip.
