Default RE: MTM Shooting Rest

Don't waste your money on that cheap plastic POS. I had one that made it through barily half a range session before the knob that tightens the vertical adjustment broke off. The thing wasn't very steady, the front and rear rubber rests don't hold cradle the gun very well, the vertical adjustments are anything but smooth and the plastic pedestal is as loose as a two dollar whore. It isn't worth $5, let alone the $45 the want for it.

I'd suggest you take you money and put it toward a Harris bipod. I do all my shooting from them (I have two), and I can easily shoot sub-MOA groups off the bipod. They are compact and light compared to a half dozen or more sandbags, and last forever. Just buy a couple sandbags to bag in the buttstock and you're all set.
