Default 17 Mach 2 barrel??? and CCI Velocitors???

I have two questions this time.

Is there anyone making a 17 Mach 2 barrel for the Ruger 77/22 LR yet? I was thinking about getting one.

How do the CCI Velocitors shoot? My 77/22 likes a lot of ammo but it doesn't shoot the very fast Stingers very well. I was wondering how the 40gr bullet over 1400 fps was grouping.

Thanks

the velocitors do well in the 77/22, there a few companies are makin barrels for the 77/22 in the new 17hm2 i cant think of the names off hand right now but last time i checked everyone was backordered for atleast 6 months.

heres a picture of a 10 shot group from my 10-22 with a clerke match heavy barrel at 75 yards. my buddies stock 77/22 does just as good. we use the velocitors for small varmits and jack rabbits. they are great!!!

HDW, I haven't shot the velocitors yet in my Clerke 10/22 barrel. Any extraction problems? The Clerkes have some pretty particular chambers.

Thanks.

the velocitors function perfectly, the demensions of the velocitor are the same as a standard 22 LR unlike stingers which have a longer case and shorter bullet, stingers wont even chamber in my clerke barrel.

I got a box of Velocitors and I shot a 1/2" group at 50 yards. I shot a 1 3/4" group at 100 yards. I think they will shoot better than that but I need to get a 1.5-6 or 2-7 for my rifle I just have a fixed 4 power.
