2 1/2" shotgun shells 12 ga.

Never heard of them till today. A friend found a couple 6's in the parking lot and gave them to me since he doesn't bird hunt. I took them and got home and saw they were only 2 1/2" shells. Should I toss them to be on the safe side or will all 2 3/4 chambers fire them?

European shells. Yea, they will chamber. But I wouldn't fire anything I just found.

no joke they could be planted there by terrorists, to hopefully someone comes along and finds them and says wow ammo and takes them shooting next thing you know you just blew your hand and half your face off and now blind in both eyes. Yea i dont shoot any ammo i just find laying out somewhere. honestly some sicko seriously could have booby trapped them. be careful

Don't shoot em. But yeah, they would fit. Cabelas still sells 2 1/2's.
