I was thinking the same thing. 10 days for a long gun.I've heard in the Sunshine state some counties have a wait on all gun purchases.Since I have my CCW that doesn't pertain me or others with a CCW.
Soark Glad to see you still kicking.Have you done any good this year?So far we've done fairly well.

Personally I would have also went with the Tikka T3 lite. But your choice of the Ruger 77 is also a good one. The Ruger is built like a tank and has respectful accuracy. I personally don't like the location of nor the 3 position safe (unless they changed it). I like my safe on or off. But again, that's personal.

Since its "best for the money" my vote goes to a Tikka T3 lite. Comes with rings and is known for its great accuracy and smooth action. The Howa's I've been around are nice, inexpensive and accurate also. If you are willing to spend more but want what I consider the best for the money get a Forbes rifle. Your going to part with about $1600.00 but have an incredible gun.

I've brought up the same thing when they do that and then somebody else follows my post and tells the guy that made the post 5-10 years ago right where to buy that gun or bow, etc. It's sort of funny in a way because many of those people haven't been back to the site since they made that post 5-10 years ago, but I think many don't read a thread or look at the dates and just make a post.
