If you have a rifled choke tube then stick with sabot slugs.....try differnt brands to see what works best for you

It will work fine, you just wouldn't want to lead up you rifled barrel with rifled slugs. They are meant to be used with smooth bores generally.

I use rifled slugs to get me on the paper at 100 yards and the switch over to the expensive stuff.

so with the rifled slugs like winchester or sluggers or rottwiels i should use my i.c. choke not my rifled choke in my smooth deer barel

Right. Rifled for smooth. Sabot for rifled. By the way I love the buckhammers. Leaves a big hole. I have had some trouble getting consistancy at 100 but 50yrds they are on top of each other. deadly

Seems that you are trying to shoot the cheapest slug not the most accurate sabot?

Better check the local laws too. Some states don't allow sabots.

its not that im that cheap it that
if i can get consitaint 75 to 100 yard shot groups with a smooth bore barrel and a rifled slug at 2-3 $ a box why would
i go with a rifled choke and a 8 $ box of sabots with the same acuracy
if they both will do the same results why spend $4+ more per box
if the improvement is really substantial i would concider it

my whole post is about getting the right setup for my gun
and getting info from all of you guys helps cuz you might have something i hadnt thought of

thanx
