Default NEF single shot 12 ga 3.5"

I saw one in the pawn shop today, listed for $119.00. Used. I know they will come down some.
What are these for retail new?

It has a screw in choke, and a scope mount rail, all black synthetic stock.
Looking to make a Turkey gun out of it.

Anybody know about this gun and prices?

Default RE: NEF single shot 12 ga 3.5"

I would almost be scared to pull the trigger on a NEF 12 ga 3.5" mag. Bet it kicks like a crazed mule. I had an NEF 20ga with 3" that really had a whollop with slugs. I traded it a couple months ago for a Mossberg 500 12 ga.

The NEF's are good guns though. Real solid lockup and mine had a great trigger. Patterned well and was very accurate. $119's not bad especially with screw-in chokes and scope rail. I would go for it if I were in the market for another single shot. If I ever do want another single again I will go right to the NEF.
