Default Prairie River Arms

Finally broke down and bought a Prairie River Arms Bullpup .50 black powder rifle. It's so unique it might just be worth something in the future. Then again, I said that about rifles sold at Sears years ago [:'(]

Doe anybody have any experience with these?

I got it for $210 delivered. Of course that was the blue steel version with the all wood stock, but that's really what I was after. Stainless in great, but I've had even the best of stainless weapons show up with rust (such as my very expensive Walther TPH that developed rust for no apparent reason and was a pain to keep clean).

For those of you interested, it looks like prairie river arms in on the way out, but this is a judgment made from the fact that they no longer have any of the stainless rifles available and it doesn't look like they will again in the future.

By the way, the latest Blue Book has these guns priced at $340 @ 100% condition. You can get one brand new for $130 less from the website!
