Default Model 94

I recently purchased a Model 94 30-30- WIN. It appears to be the Traditional style made after 1964. The serial # is 2806281. Could someone verify the year made and what is the value of the rifle?
Thanks.

Not exactly sure on the date of manufacture, but i have heard that anything made before 1964 would have a serial number under 3 million. My model 94 was made in 1947 and i think my serial number is like 1,650, 5**. I would guess in the 280's that yours was made somewhere in the late 50's very early 60's. Value really depends on the condition of the rifle, but the older the gun and lower the serial number also playes into the value. Im sure someone on here could probably give you a exact year. I do think that it was made before 64 though.

with that long of serial number I would say its newer production maybe early to mid 90's the guns value will be around $300 to $400 tops if in excellent condition, condition also plays alot in value if its rough looking but functional it would not be worth more then about 250 dollars
