Default Drop-In-Sator

Has anyone got any first hand experience using the Drop-In-Sator? They fit on most scope makes and work kind of like target knobs, except that they are calibrated for specific cartridges/bullets/velocities and can even be custom calibrated for your specific handloads. You sight in at 100 Yds and then just dial the desired yardage on the Drop-In_Sator and hold dead on to shoot. They are calibrated out to 500 Yds.

Check out the pics of a Drop-In-Sator mounted on a scope at the Drop-In-Sator, Inc. website.

I'm thinking about putting one of these on my 30-06 BAR and was courious as to how well they worked. Seems like a fairly simple concept and I would think that they should work very well. Just wanted to see if anyone had used one.

Default RE: Drop-In-Sator

I have a product like this on my 220 swift. When i bought the rifle with a leupold scope(used), it was already installed. I am not sure if it was from this company. But it has been quite effective. I have shot it out to 300 yards, no problem. Usually within a half an inch if wheather permits. I am going to buy another set for my wifes 22-250. Hope this helps some.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering if they worked as advertised. Seems like they would since it's not exactly rocket science....LOL

Don't really know if I really "need" one as my current hand load for my 30-06 shoots 2" high @ 100, 3" low at 250 & most of my shots would be 200 or less so as long as I've got fur showing I'm in pretty good shape...LOL Just thought they were neet and might be fun to have on the gun.....as long as they worked.
