Got my gun today. Put a Leoupold var XIII on it. Man I wish I could post pictures!!!

Shot 2 box's of rounds and cleaned the barrel with Rem bore cleaner after every shot. This gun was shooting 1/2 MOA groups

I put a few of my MT shell case up at 100 yards and was nocking them down. Some times it would take 2 shots but it was shooting awsome...

LOVE THE TRIGGER!!!!

I know a guy that has a 300 WSM in a Savage rifle... can't remember the model # and I am too lazy to go to the Savage website to look it up, but it was a laminated stock and a stainless barrel. Nice looking gun topped with a Leupold scope. He is very satisfied with it and said it shot very well. Sounds like u have a similar rifle and scope- A fine hunting unit in a good caliber

Ken, I love that Savage rifle. Did yours come with that new Accu-trigger? If I ever get a new rifle, I'm getting a Savage as well!!
