Default Ruger Rework

Anyone have to send a gun back to Ruger.I bought a slab side had to take it back because of a problem before christmas, haven't gotten it back yet.The dealer said only thing he has gotten back was a letter saying they received it.This is Feb and still waiting.

Herman, Well at least you know Ruger received it.Be patient.I've waited for 8-10 weeks before. It all depends on Ruger's work load and the time of the year. You could call Ruger in Prescott AZ and talk to the service dept. They'll most likely give you some time frame when to expect it.I've always been satisfied with Ruger Service dept.If the MK II's were made in Newport NH I could give you a few names to talk to. Don't know any of them in Prescott where the semi auto's are made.. Ruger will make it right.

I agree, Ruger has great customer service! One of the few who still do!

You don't want a Rush Job do you?

I agree with you F4YG. There sure aren't many companies who take care of their customers like Ruger does.I must say Thompson/Center is right up there with Ruger's CS.I've dealt with Browning a few times and they left allot to be desired. The worst I think I've ever contacted was Polaris. It wasn't worth the cost of the phone call.I would much rather wait a little longer and get the job done right.
