Default Mossberg SSi One

I'm looking to see if anyone has any experienc with this rifle. I am wanting a single shot but a Ruger No1 is monitarily out of the question. Anyone shot it? Just looking for opinions.

I have not seen one at our range which is pretty strange since there are a lot of members and they are always shooting something new. I have picked them up in gunshops and gunshows...They appear to be very well made and extremely solid...lots of steel surrounding that cartridge . It breaks open like an encore but I prefer the look of the mossberg better(no offense TC owners)...very nice gun...just so happens that I owned some Ruger no 1's everytime I looked at the mossberg thats why I guess I never bought one.

Strangely enough I have not found anyone who has shot one. I've posted this question on a couple other boards. I guess I'll just need to get it. $250 is a pretty reasonable price.

I work Part time at a D1ck's Sporting goods. That is what we are selling them for. Too bad I don't get a discount on guns.[:'(]
