Default RE: Anyone own the Super Shadow?

Winchester is releasing a new caliber for 2004. This is the 25 WSSM, the 25-06 in a super short action. The question about the super shadow is take a good look at it close up. Some like the new ergonomics of the stock and some hate it. My shooting partner purchased a Super Shadow in 7MM WSM at the local Wal Mart. It also had a cheap Simmons scope on it. He changed the scope to a Leupold. Shooting factory Winchester Super X loads the rifle shot 3 shot groups under 1 inch. THis is pretty good for a bone stock rifle. His rifle is the one that has a blind magazine. If I were to buy one I would choose the model that has the hinged floorplate. I personally like the rifle and wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I was in need of a new rifle. I believe a rifle like this in 25 WSSM may be a perfect match for your wife. It will have low recoil, flat trajectory, and plenty of power for Whitetail, Mulies, or Pronghorn. You can also buy an 85gr load for predator hunting.
