It was originlly designed as a long range military sniper cartridge. Launching a 250 grain bullet at about 3000 fps.
Barrel life should be just like any other magnum launching bullets at 3000 fps. Accuracy, as I' m sure you know, will depend on the gun and bulet that you shoot.
As far as I know the only copmpanies that make brass for it are Norma and Lapua so expect to pay for it.
Dakota and Sako chamber rifles for it.
