Does anybody out there have an opinion on the BSA scopes.

Please don' t say " Just go with a Leopold" cause I can' t afford one.

Just BSA, Has anyone ever had good luck with one?

No, not Bushnell, BSA.
Somebody out there must have one that they can talk about.

No I meant go with a bushnell over the BSA. Personally don' t have any experience with the BSA, but have heard a lot of negative reviews on here and other places. I have heard some say the sightrons (sp?) are ok and reasonable. Bushnell have a number of models and I am sure you can find one that fits into your price range. While they may not be the best for the dollars they are still decent and well known/used around the world.

I had alot of BSA scopes returned by buyers because they just didn' t hold up. I agree, go with Bushnell if you' re on a limited budget.

I had a BSA on my .22 and it was not very clear or crisp. Lots of folks talk down Simmons---but so far I have had no problem with mine---I have one on my .22, 30-06, and shotgun. Bushnell is also a good low end scope. I' d stay away from BSA or Tasco.

The advice from others is right on. Do not buy a BSA, instead go with a Bushnell Banner and if you have a little money to play with move to the Bushnell Legend for around $135. I believe this is the best scope you can buy for $135.00.
