11-87,870 w/Hastings barrel

I was looking to get an 1187 or an 870 and put a hasting barel on it. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this setup and if so what kind of groups are you getting with what ammo.

Had a 870 with Hastings, used accutips for 3" average groups at 100y.

You might want to look further for Reviews on the Hastings Barrels, I've read they had accuracy issues with them, at least back some years ago. My brother had one on an 870 and couldn't hit the broad side of a Barn, as he put it, at the time he tried every load available... ended up selling the gun. just saying..

I have several 870's in both 12g and 20g and an 11-87 Special Purpose in 12g...have a couple different slug barrels for the 870's including a Hastings (24" Ported/Riffled)...I have never seen a remarkable difference in accuracy between the lot of them...
