Default Savage 10 BAS or Howa Axiom, in 308?

If they were both sitting on the table and you could take one over the other and go, which one and why? I have found a Howa Axiom with some scope I have never heard of (??? Stillar) I think, and the Savage Model 10 BAS w/o glass. Both in 308. Whatcha think?

Savage for me. The reason being every Savage I've seen has been surprisingly accurate. They really are just great guns that have proven themselves over and over.

I've several Savages and they all shoot extremely well. Of course, I also heard good things about Howa rifles. I would say get the one that feels best to you.

I held the Axiom and it didn't feel right. The Savage would be my vote. Ohh yeah I only have one bolt action at the moment and its a Savage 11 in 308.
