Fritz, remember that Remington lowered the max pressure on the STW when the RUM came out to make the RUM look a lot faster then the STW...

yep they did, what most folks don't relize is the rum is rated to 65K psi, what holds all that pressure? the action, the brass just holds the powder, a stw loaded to the same pressure as a rum will outrun it bad, make your brass fit the chamber well and the stw will take 65K as well as the RUM and run faster with less powder being burnt.but bet your bottom dollar *************************
