Default value of a remington 700 in 270

i have the oppertunity to pick up a 270 700adl that in guessing is about from the 70-80s, not in the nicest shape, some good scares on the stock. little rust and pitting on the bolt from sitting around, cheap scope and mounts, blue is fading and it needs a real good cleaning.
what would be a fair price?

id say 150 bucks honestly. I just picked up a brand new Rem 700 ADL with the synthetic stock in 30-06 from walmart for 397 and it came with a 3x9 Remington scope that does the job. Walmart also carries them in different calibers like 243, 270, 30-06, 308

Search GunBroker's website. That should give you a starting range.

It's hard to say. But from the shopping that I have done around here, I would say $150-$300. That is pawn shop prices that I have seen. For some reason around here guns just keep climbing in value.

im not really in the market for a rusty, beat up adl. but for 200 i would of cleaned it up real nice!

I bought one 5 years ago, made in mid 80s i believe looked like it had never been fired with a bushnell scope for $550 so id say let him keep it
