I was under the impression that the Browning A-Bolt is in rifle configurations only? I have 2, 1 in .243 and the other a Browning A-Bolt Medalion in 7mm WSSM. I did not see that they were coming out in shotgun gauges now.

secondchance, Browning made the ABolt as a shotgun as well back in the 90's, it was well ahead of it's time, but what killed it was the price at the time. I know it will be a better shotgun then the Savage as far as looks, smoothness, etc. but I don't know if it will shoot better, and for the price it maybe out of range for many...time will only tell

I must have missed that memo!!! I have never seen them as a shotgun. I have 2 of the rifles and love them. Were they in a slug gun configuration? If so, I would imagine that it would be a tack driver in the bolt design. maybe something to look into. Thanks!!!!!

It is.

I will buy one.

So what will happen to the value of the older a-bolt slug guns? I have two that were never fired that I was holding onto hoping they'd end up being collector pieces.

They are already going down in price some. If I was you, I would try to sell now, and hopefully get 1800 a piece.
