Wby Sporter vs. Model 70 Sporter (SC)

Which is better? The Vanguard or Winnie?

In 270 or '06.

I'd take the Model 70, given that choice.

I like the WBY in 270 Wetherby Mag. Winchester Mag is good too and cheaper if you don't reload.

I like the Wetherby for the long range. I use it at only one of my hunting spots where I have a 300 yard view in one direction. I have a permanent blind there with a good gun rest so I am confident I can reach out that far if the right opportunity presented itself. For my other rifle spots my BLR 308 is my choice.

Where and what do you plan on hunting?
