Default Recoil pad question

Has anyone used the Sims Vibration Laboratory (limb saver) recoil pads. I am considering putting one on my Beretta shotgun and Browning Rifle. I have heard that they cut the felt recoil in half, if not more. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: Recoil pad question

I am picking out pads right now for a sxs shotgun and a 338 I own to replace the factory pads...for the Shotgun it is getting a SC100 Pachmayr decelerator and the rifle is getting a Sims grind to fit pad.... The sims pad is so soft that I think it would not work well in a shotgun that you have to shoulder...just look at all the pads the other mfrs put out and they have some made specifically for field and skeet/target shotguns.

I put a Pachmyer decelerator on my 7mm and it does work. I am small, 155 lbs, and the 7 kicks me pretty hard at the range. The Pachmyer is worth every cent and make shooting more enjoyable.
