Default Ruger 77/22 MAGUNUM

is anyone familiar with ruger' s 77/22 especialy chambered in .22 mag, I would appreciate any feedback on this rifle. I found a NIB 77/22 mag blued, walnut, for 350.00. any comments are more than welcome

couldn' t afford the Ruger at the time but I love the caliber! It' s double the hitting power and damage of a .22 on gophers. Use the TNT' s if you do buy it, they do a hell of a job on expansion and the' re very accurate too. JDinAB

That is a very good price for the 77/22 mag...I had both the 77/22 and 77/22 mag and both were good rifles. the 77/22' s trigger was fine but the 77/22 mag needed trigger work. If you want to really make them better contact Connnecticut Precision Chambering and they will blueprint them for you . If you look at Gunsamerica , Gunbroker and Auction Arms and type in 77/22 you will see the prices a bit higher than what you are buying it for.

thats where i found my gun was at guns america, and i do plan on having a trigger job done one it because i have noticed it is rather heavy

That' s a good price. You can find really good buys on gunsamerica and the auctions.Hope you get it before someone else does.
