i dont personally own a elcan digitalhunter dnhd scope but ive had the chance to try out earlier versions meant for the para millitary market. its not a full night vision scope but more of a light enhancing scope. it can be used as a night scope with a IR torch since the ccd they use can pick up just about every light wavelength imaginable. the only problem that the original ones had was that the had a slight delay since the image is captured in a fairly advanced camera ccd then projected to your eye, so there was a 0.03 milisecond delay. from what ive read the new ones use the ccd/projector as a enhancement so the delay is eliminated. the digital hunter dh1 doesnt have the light enhancement and has no delay
