Default Bought a H&R 7mm-08

Kinda got a wild hair up my --- and bought me a H&R 7mm-08... I bore sighted down threw the barrel and was within 6" of the bulls eye at 65 yards... Took me 5 shots to get it dialed in... Shot 5 more rounds and it shot pretty good... The trigger pull feels good... I would say around 4 pounds

I plan on shooting it out to 100 yards this week end...

Congrats, the more I read about the 7mm-08 the more I want one. It's a great caliber.

I carried a rem bdl in 270 for about twenty years, a freind bought a new scope and brought it over to have me mount and sight it in. I sight it in and check on the grouping at 100 yards. I was truly surprised by the groups and recoil, I went out and bought one, my wife now shoots the "meat gun", I went with the 7-08mm, I guess Im a traitor!!! LOL LOL

If you handload try the 120 gr BT's much higher BC and makes it much flatter.
