mossberg 702 plinkster
well i went out and bought a mossberg 702 plinkster today and im quite pleased with it.
its a semi auto black syn. stock and brushed chrome barrel.bought itat gander mountain for 129.
already put 100 rounds through it without one hicup, very accurate at 30yds with the open sites.
my girlfriend liked shooting it also so when i set back the 150 bux for the special order 702 plinster with the pink marble stock, im gonna get her one.

RE: mossberg 702 plinkster
only thing i found that was odd when i bought the gun is the owners manual said to clean the gun before shooting it because of the greasy lube they put in it to ship.
i did do a quick clean and they wernt lying the stuff was very sticky so it probly would build up dirty real quick if it wasnt cleaned before first use.
other than that no complants from me, i dont mind cleaning my guns. nothing like listing to some tunes with the smell of hoppes no 9 in the air.

I bought this gun for my son's 8th birthday... He has shot a bb gun for about 3 years now so he has some shooting time in. The first day I had him shoot this gun he was shooting dimes and pennies from 12 yards off of a tree limb. I have the video to prove it. I was amazed with his shooting.
I didn't clean the gun before we shot it and we had about 3 times it jammed but nothing since and he has almost went through his boz of 550 rounds. I love the gun and highly recommend it!!!!!

I just bought one at our local Walmart here in Az. for $107+tx. I did clean it and now plan to test it out.So much rain the roads are closed to the local public range. Glad to hear you like it. For a cheap plastic fiberglass stock it shoulders real well, fits me great.
